Sweet Dreams Childcare began in Pittsburgh in 2006 with a mission to help working families find dependable care, including families whose schedules did not fit traditional childcare hours. Nearly two decades later, that mission continues at our Green Tree location. From 2165 Noblestown Road, we proudly serve children and families throughout Green Tree and Pittsburgh’s western communities. Our history has included different seasons of growth, but our present focus is one location, stronger leadership, and quality care families can trust.

Sweet Dreams Childcare has always been built on love, trust, and the belief that families deserve safe, dependable childcare they can feel good about.

What started as a small dream in 2006 grew into something bigger than I ever imagined. I began caring for children from my home as a single mother simply trying to provide for my four daughters. Over time, Sweet Dreams grew into multiple childcare locations and became a place where many families found care, comfort, and community.

But growth also has its challenges and teaches you lessons.

After years of operating multiple locations, I made the decision to bring Sweet Dreams Childcare back to one location: our Greentree center.

This decision was not made lightly. As a childcare owner, I know how important it is for every classroom, every staff member, and every daily routine to reflect the values that Sweet Dreams was built on. When I looked at where we were and where we needed to go, I knew it was time to stop stretching wide and start building deeper.

So, we chose focus.

We chose stronger leadership.

We chose a more personal connection with our families.

We chose to give our full attention to one beautiful location where we can continue doing what we do best: caring for children with love, structure, safety, and joy.

This new chapter allows me to be more present, more connected, and more hands-on with the Sweet Dreams families we serve every day. It gives our team the chance to strengthen our systems, support our classrooms, and create the kind of childcare experience parents can truly trust.

Sweet Dreams Childcare is not starting over.

We are getting stronger.

Our Greentree location is now the heart of Sweet Dreams Child Care 2, and we are excited to keep serving families with the same passion, purpose, and commitment that started this journey all those years ago.
